Carbon Fiber Skinning and Covers
Carbon fiber skinning involves applying a thin layer of carbon fiber over a component to achieve a sleek carbon fiber appearance while adding strength and protection. Achieving a high-quality result is a meticulous process that involves multiple steps and significant time. Completing even a small piece can take days or weeks, depending on the complexity of the shape and the level of detail required for a flawless finish and precise fit.

Carbon fiber covers use a similar technique but include a release mechanism, allowing the carbon fiber shell to be removed from the original part. Restoration and Carbon Repair
Over time Carbon Fiber can become dull, cracked or turn yellow. We provide a service to restore your original Carbon Fiber trim parts. This is a custom service and pricing is determined by the level of effort and materials used to restore or repair the parts. Please contact us for more details. Core Exchange Discount
OEM Carbon Fiber parts listed as "in stock" are pre-covered and ready to ship. The sale price of these items includes the cost of the original part. If you return a usable core after installing your new Carbon Fiber part, you will be refunded the core charge.

Core Condition Requirements
To qualify for a core refund, the returned part must meet the following criteria:

Acceptable Condition: Cosmetic issues like color, surface finish, paint, or leather condition do not affect eligibility.

Structural Integrity: The part must not be cracked, warped, or damaged. All fasteners, clips, and mounting points must be intact.
After receiving and inspecting your returned core, we will issue the refund to your original payment method if the part meets the above conditions.

Installation
SMA Fabrication offers professional installation services for the carbon fiber products we provide, as well as other aftermarket carbon fiber parts. This includes Front Splitters, Side Skirts, Spoilers, Rear Diffusers, Hoods, and various other body panels and components. Since the quality and fit of aftermarket parts can vary, we can assist in sourcing products from reputable manufacturers we trust based on our experience. Installations are available by appointment only in the Tampa, FL area.
